Traveling has always been one of my favorite hobbies, this summer I was fortunate enough to visit Dubai. Dubai is one of the very wonders that the world has to offer, from oceans to deserts, to a city with a remarkable infrastructure. After traveling all around Dubai for 4 days, I have developed a list of great attraction sites that no tourist should miss.
The Dubai Frame
Tourists from all over the world come to the Dubai Frame to view the magnificent view of the Dubai City from the top of the biggest photo frame in the world. Along with experiencing a breath-taking view, the tourists learn about Dubai’s history from the museum located at the top of the frame. The Dubai Frame is located in the center of Zabeel Park’s Jogging Track. Based on my personal interaction with this attraction, I was immensely impressed with the unbelievable view that the top floor has to offer, but however the predominant usage of Arabic rendered much of the information inaccessible for English readers. The Dubai Frame has an outstanding 17,017 reviews on Google, averaging a rating of 4.5 stars. The average price for an adult ticket is 30 dollars, whereas the child ticket is 16 dollars. Parking is extremely accessible at this tourist attraction. I rate this attraction 3 stars out of 5.
Dubai Desert
The Dubai Desert has many features to offer to the tourists visiting it. A popular feature is the famous Desert Safari Cruises, in which a professional driver takes passengers on an unforgettable ride in a large SUV. The SUV bashes swiftly through the dunes, and the excitement created by this car ride is truly cherishable. Along with SUV dune rides, the desert offers various other day activities for people of different interests, such as camel riding, and ATV riding. Night activities are also hugely popular. For example, the Desert is the house of belly dancing, a spectacular fire show, and a local Arabic traditional dance. The Desert adventure costs 35 dollars per person, and is rated an average of 4 out of 5 stars from 170 reviews on TripAdvisor. I completely enjoyed this attraction and have no complaints regarding the various activities offered, and I feel it is completely justifiable to reward it with 5 stars for the adventure that a tourist is able to receive from their apt activity.
Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall
The heart of Dubai City lies in the downtown where the Dubai Mall is located, which is the biggest mall in the world, and at its entrance lies Burj Khalifa, the highest skyscraper in the world. The Dubai Mall houses a large variety of stores to fit every budget. The style of architecture used throughout the interiors and exteriors of the mall is astonishing. The major problem that I had at the mall was the lack of water. The situation of water is completely different from the typical American malls that we visit. Water is a scarce element that many restaurants within the mall do not supply, and rather provide various supplements, such as the famous mint juice; however I found this extremely inconvenient.
The Burj Khalifa consists of a restaurant, a hotel for visitors whose priority is luxury, and a breathtaking view of the city from 2 sky decks. The Dubai Mall is rated an average of 4.7 stars from 126,117 reviews on Google. The Burj Khalifa is rated an average of 4.7 from 52,341 reviews on Google. My personal experience from the sky deck on the 83rd floor was an unforgettable one, and honestly quite traumatizing as well due to such a high elevation. I would like to rate the Burj Khalifa 4.5 stars because of the constant hurdles while going to the respective level based on the price of the ticket purchased. I would also like to rate the Dubai Mall 4.5 Mall stars based on my personal experience.
Traveling is one of the most popular hobbies for people throughout the world, including me. Dubai is a very prominent country for luxuries, and though it seems to have exorbitant prices at tourist places it funds the country to expand the wonders within the city. I hope everyone who visits Dubai will surely visit these places and have a memorable time of their lives.
