North Hollywood’s Animal Rescue Club is hosting a fundraiser during September! Their goal is to raise $200 over the course of the month, to be donated to the animal shelter No-Kill Los Angeles; the money will be put towards the adoption fees of some of the dogs and cats in the shelter. Why should I donate? Besides the obvious benefits of helping dogs and cats find a forever home, the HGM will also benefit. To help the club raise the money, Ms. Espinosa has pledged to adopt a new aquatic frog as a successor to Newton (“Newt”) the Frog, who sadly passed away last year, if the club hits its goal of $200. How can I donate? Ms. Espinosa has a labeled donation box in her room! If you can’t find it on your own, just ask her. Will I find out how much money is raised? Members from the Animal Rescue Club will count how much money has been raised each week and will keep a tally in Ms. Espinosa’s room. The tally will be updated after Animal Rescue Club’s weekly meetings on Tuesdays in Mr. McCollaum’s room. *image taken from http://awos.petfinder.com/shelters/CA2165.html
